Štěpánka Bláhovcová

Štěpánka Bláhovcová studied at the Department of Fine Arts at the University of J.A.Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, the Faculty of Art and Design, and at the Institute of Art and Design at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She attended study stays in Krakow (Poland) and Port (Portugal). Her main field are graphic design and illustration. She has won many awards, such as the European Design Awards or the Grapheion magazine Award. In her free works she deals with photography, graphics, object creation and installations. She has published several book publications, she has performed many independent exhibitions, e.g. in Ústí nad Labem or in the Bezejmenná čajovna (No name Tea House) in Šťáhlavice, and group projects such as the Czech-German exhibition Bohemia is located by the sea.
